The file is Saveit.exe and it is an exploding Zip. Savior is a rescue package that, along with a health check, will create a rescue disk that will allow a user to restore all of the important control files for both DOS and Windows along with the current settings for CMOS. Savior will afford protection for when your CMOS battery fails, you fail to install that windows package correctly or you become the victim of a mains spike. Savior will return you to the point you were at before the problem showed up. The added bonus is that a health check of your system will be made every time you make a restore disk. I have agreed to assist in the distribution of this package and will be happy to receive any bug reports at this Email Address. Derek@adams.demon.co.uk The only known error is where the users machine has so many windows applications that a 1.44 meg disk is inadequate to store all the control files. Technical support is via the author who is not on the internet, if you wish mail me here and I will pass them on. The company producing the program have not attempted distribution via the Shareware route before. They have however written many diagnostic packages for manufacturers including IBM. As an aside if you are uploading it elsewhere it would be nice to know were as I am interested in tracking propagation. Make a directory SAVIOR, copy in the file Saveit.exe type Saveit and the file will explode. A 1.44 floppy and a little time is required to make your rescue disk. I hope you like it and look forward to your comments. Regards Derek Tidman
